As a Software Engineer at Rail Europe, you will grow your skills while contributing to our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Learning & Delivering Solutions: Develop software features under guidance, write quality code, and learn testing and deployment practices.
• Full Lifecycle Participation: Actively participate in agile ceremonies, assist with testing, deployments, and monitoring, and gain exposure to architectural discussions.
• Problem Solving with Support: Work alongside senior engineers to debug issues, investigate root causes, and implement solutions, building troubleshooting skills over time.
• Building Technical Foundations: Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following team standards, with guidance from peers through code reviews.
• Collaborative Contribution: Work closely with engineers, your Engineering Manager, and Product Managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Knowledge Sharing & Growth: Continuously learn, ask questions, and share what you learn with teammates, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Innovation & Engagement: Take part in our monthly hack day.
