Software Engineer (Java, Go, AWS)

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Java, Go, AWS) for a 12+ month contract with locations in Durham, NC; Westlake, TX; Smithfield, RI; or remote options until post-COVID.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application development using Java or Go
• Proficiency in Python, Snowflake, Groovy, and Shell Scripting is a plus
• Degree in computer science or related field
• Experience designing real-time market data applications and working with AWS CloudWatch, Data Dog dashboards, and observability metrics
• Knowledge of SRE principles, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux, Cassandra, automated testing, and agile practices
• Delivery-oriented with end-to-end ownership, team collaboration, and a commitment to high standards
