Software Engineer

Qualifications

• Programming experience with Java, Python, React, or similar technologies (Full Stack development)
• Experience building internal tools, platforms, or dashboards used by engineering teams
• Experience integrating multiple systems (APIs, data pipelines, or aggregating data into a centralized tool)
• Experience with security or DevSecOps tools (Snyk, Wiz, GitGuardian, Prisma Cloud, etc.)
• Exposure to application security concepts (vulnerabilities, scanning tools, remediation workflows)

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance an internal platform that aggregates data from security and engineering tools into a single, actionable system
• Develop APIs and backend services to integrate multiple data sources (e.g., vulnerability tools, code repositories, cloud platforms)
• Design and build user-facing dashboards and interfaces (React or similar) that surface insights to developers and engineering teams
• Translate complex security findings into clear, actionable workflows for engineers
• Identify gaps in existing processes and propose/build solutions to improve developer security practices
• Collaborate with security, platform, and application teams to ensure adoption and usability of the tools you build
• Contribute to overall platform architecture and engineering best practices

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
