About
Software Engineer Level 2 is a mid-level role responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software systems with increasing independence. Candidates typically have solid experience in programming, debugging, and software development best practices, with the ability to contribute to complex technical solutions. This role requires strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency working in Linux development environments
- Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or Java Script
- Experience with the following: Git, Git Lab, IDEs (e.g., VSCode, Eclipse, etc…)
- Agile framework experience (Scrum, etc.)
Desired Skills
- Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming
- Experience with geospatial processing
- Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays
- Experience with Git Lab, Git Hub or similar version control tools
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- BS Degree + 14 years experience

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $250K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, we invest in our employees beyond just compensation.
