For our renowned client in the maritime defense industry, we are looking for several Software Engineers (m/f/d) at the Wedel (west of Hamburg) location as soon as possible.

Employment within the scope of temporary employment (up to 24 months) with a very good chance of being taken over.

What you'll do

Software Development & Architecture

• Development and further development of software components in C++ for unmanned and autonomous systems
• Creation of software architectures, designs, and technical implementation concepts
• Decomposition of complex systems and integration of individual software artifacts

Requirements & Testing

• Creation and maintenance of requirements at system, component, and unit level (e.g., DOORS)
• Development of test concepts and test specifications
• Ensuring compliance with quality, time, and cost targets

Embedded & System Proximity

• Hardware-related software development in the embedded environment
• Development of interfaces and support for integration, build, and CI/CD (e.g., CMake, GitLab)

Innovation & Collaboration

• Participation in topics such as Autonomy, AI, and Machine Learning
• Close coordination within the agile development team and with adjacent areas

Your Profile

• Studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable
• Alternatively, training in the IT sector with sound experience
• Several years of experience in software development, ideally with C++
• Knowledge in one or more areas: Embedded Systems, Software Architecture / Design, Requirements Engineering, Testing / Integration
• Experience with tools such as C++, Git, CI/CD, CMake, Matlab/Simulink or DOORS is an advantage
• Structured way of working, teamwork skills, and good German and English language skills
