We’re looking for a Software Engineer – Medical Content Framework (C++/Java) to join our team in Heidelberg and help build the core technology that powers Snke’s medical content platform. If you enjoy solving complex problems, working close to product and clinical experts, and building scalable software with real impact in healthcare, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
- Develop and enhance our medical content framework in C++ and Java
- Build tools and services that enable structured medical knowledge, decision logic, and clinical workflows
- Work closely with Product, UX, Medical Experts, and Data teams to turn clinical concepts into robust software
- Design APIs, data models, and processing pipelines for medical content
- Ensure performance, reliability, and clean architecture across the platform
- Contribute to continuous improvement, code quality, and engineering best practices
What you bring
- Strong experience in C++ and/or Java
- Solid understanding of software architecture, data structures, and clean code principles
- Experience with APIs, data modeling, or content‑driven systems
- Curiosity for medical/clinical domains (no prior medical knowledge required)
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work cross‑functionally
- Good English skills; German is a plus
