Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer in the "Platform Software" team, you will develop embedded software components in the automotive environment for innovative control and operating device complexes and innovative display and operating elements in the vehicle interior.
- In this role, you will create, integrate, and maintain standard components for AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR ECUs; with a particular focus on flash bootloaders.
- You will develop concepts for the implementation of new technologies and functions in the area of flash bootloaders and bring them to series production readiness.
- Your tasks also include configuring and integrating the basic software components into AUTOSAR environments.
- They coordinate software interfaces with internal team members and conduct scheduled reviews throughout the entire software development process.
- They work according to Automotive SPICE and, together as a team, further develop standards for our software development processes.
Qualifications
- Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) or completed technical training with relevant professional experience
- Practical experience with various hardware platforms and their development environments (compilers, debuggers); preferably experience with Vector tools (DaVinci, CANoe, etc.) and experience in flash bootloader development; exposure to cybersecurity and HSM (hardware security modules) is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of software development for embedded systems in the C programming language, preferably in the AUTOSAR environment and taking into account the Automotive SPICE processes.
- Open and communicative character, team player, structured and goal-oriented work style, high quality awareness, enjoyment of detective work in the software environment
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
