Responsibilities

• Conceptualization and development of a data warehouse architecture and integration of data from various company divisions
• Operation of the required software systems on Kubernetes clusters using DevOps practices
• Definition of a methodology for performance monitoring and support of data-driven decision-making processes in our business units
• Transfer of data analysis know-how and promotion of a "data-driven" culture within the company

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related technical field with a strong focus on computer science, or an equivalent IT qualification with several years of professional experience
• In-depth knowledge of the theory and practice of data and software engineering
• Analytical and communication skills, as well as an open personality
• Experience in operating software systems using DevOps practices
• Enjoyment of coaching and knowledge transfer within the team
• Experience with at least one part of our technology and tool stack (Python, Linux/Docker/Kubernetes/Helm, PostgreSQL, dbt, Apache Superset, possibly Apache Airbyte and Apache Airflow)
• Confident writing of sophisticated technical texts in English and very good German language skills, both written and spoken
