simulation and modeling engineer

Overview of the role

We are seeking a simulation and modeling engineer with a decade of experience. In this role you will be working with subject matter experts, developers, engineers, and staff to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have aviation knowledge, although this is not required for the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a modeling and simulation engineer
• Five to ten (5-10) years of work experience (or equivalent)
• Superior skills in the java programming language
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience developing new algorithms for desktop and web-based simulations
• Creating animations, as well as associated documentation and software delivery
• US citizenship is required

Preferred (but Not Required) Qualifications

• Previous experience with simulation software and experience with other software languages
• Aviation knowledge

Education

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science (or a related SOFTWARE engineering discipline) is required
