Consolinno Energy GmbH
About the role
About Us
Do you want to help shape the energy transition? Then you're in the right place with us! We are a young but growing GreenTec company based in Regensburg and Munich, looking for a motivated and experienced Software Engineer (m/f/d) starting immediately.
Your Responsibilities
- You will continuously develop our products in the C&I sector, focusing on new backend functionalities, modern architectures, and a stable, scalable infrastructure. You will work on our backend for forecast-based optimization of energy systems.
- You will optimize our existing systems and ensure that quality assurance and testing (unit, integration, and system tests) are maintained at a high, automated level. You will analyze sources of error not only reactively but also derive preventive measures that make the software more robust in the long term.
- You will ensure the smooth operation of our products in the C&I sector – from error analysis and bug fixing to documentation and further development of support processes.
- You will support the technical processing of our customer projects.
- You will manage requirements for external development services – from identifying tasks to be outsourced to creating technical specifications and ensuring quality assurance and integration of external results.
- You will work with adjacent functions, especially product management, to coordinate requirements and implementation details.
Your Profile
- You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field; alternatively, an IT apprenticeship with relevant professional experience.
- You are proficient in Python and enjoy working with modern programming languages.
- You have experience in linear optimization and machine learning methods for sequential data.
- You have experience in developing backend systems and distributed architectures.
- You are proficient in using version control systems like Git and ideally have experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Ideally, you have had exposure to the energy industry or related sectors, or the motivation to quickly and thoroughly familiarize yourself with it.
- You work analytically, structured, and with a high quality standard – research, troubleshooting, and systematic thinking are among your strengths.
- You are a team player with clear communication, enjoyment of knowledge sharing, and the willingness to bring your environment along technically – both internally and externally.
- You have a quick grasp of concepts, approach challenges solution-oriented, and navigate complex technical systems with confidence.
- You speak fluent German (min. C1) and English at a good level (min. B2).
Why Us?
- You will work in a young, competent, and highly motivated team that works with real passion on digital solutions for the energy transition.
- You will develop products that are technically leading and truly needed by our customers – no showcases, but applications with real impact.
- You will use modern development and collaboration tools, automated tests, and contemporary working methods that enable you to work efficiently.
- You will have direct exchange with internal and external experts – you will work closely with people who make decisions and value your feedback.
- You can quickly contribute and test new ideas and incorporate them into product development – initiative and technical curiosity count here.
- You will have a lot of creative freedom and personal responsibility for your topics – from architectural decisions to quality assurance and process improvement.
- You will work on varied tasks related to simulation, optimization, backend development, testing, and operation – combined with flexible working hours and mobile working.
- You will receive fair compensation that makes your contributions to project success visible.
- You will work in modern offices with a relaxed atmosphere, open structures, and a corporate culture based on transparency and trust.
- You will enjoy free drinks, fresh fruit, and a team that works together at eye level.
- You will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package – including company pension scheme, health card, and personal consultation.
- You have the opportunity to lease an e-bike and make your commute sustainable.
- You will work in an environment where reliability, fairness, openness, and respect set the tone – not just on paper, but in everyday life.
- You will contribute measurably to the energy transition with your technical know-how – and become part of a team that sets standards in its industry.
