Responsibilities

  • Requirements management and architectural decisions regarding IT applications for real estate management
  • Software design, development, testing, operation, and maintenance of applications in close cooperation with specialist departments and IT teams (e.g., full-stack development with Java stack, SQL, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Provision of integration services between applications in the IT landscape of DRV Bund
  • Error analysis, bug fixing, and continuous improvement of applications within the area of responsibility
  • Documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

About the Role

Our IT domain is responsible for the development and maintenance of specialized software solutions for the real estate and administration management of DRV Bund. With a holistic view and often in project work, you will shape the application landscape for the real estate management of the German Pension Insurance Federation.

Profile

  • Completed university education (Bachelor's, FH Diploma) or equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification) in an IT field such as Business Informatics, Media Informatics, or comparable fields of study, OR completed vocational training or further/continuing education in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist in application development or equivalent) with several years of practical experience in the IT field, OR comparable, long-term task-relevant experience in the IT field
  • Several years of task-relevant professional experience in IT
  • Current practical experience in using the JAVA Stack (JAVA EE, Quarkus, IntelliJ)
  • Practical experience in using collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git) and automation tools (e.g., Artifactory and Gitlab)
  • Good knowledge of cloud architectures and experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
  • Database knowledge in Microsoft SQL and Oracle
  • Nice-to-have:
    • Knowledge of classic client/server architectures and application lifecycle management
    • Practical experience in classic project work (V-Modell) and with agile methods (including SCRUM, Kanban), as well as in vendor management
  • A high degree of initiative, an analytical and independent way of working, and the enjoyment of delving into new subject areas complete your profile.
