Your Role

Do you want to do more than just write code and see your software move real machines? Then join us and actively shape the digital future of the steel industry.

For the Mechatronics department (ME MP), we are looking for a communicative and dedicated software developer to strengthen our team with the following tasks:

• In-depth experience in C#/.NET and knowledge of modern web technologies
• Variety guaranteed: You will dive deep into our product, working primarily on the frontend (approx. 2/3), complemented by backend components (e.g., Web APIs, gRPC services) (approx. 1/3)
• Implementation of UI/UX concepts in close collaboration with development and product management
• Co-design and further development of modern .NET-based web applications using Blazor (Hybrid) and Apache ECharts
• Participation in the conception, development, and programming of software solutions based on .NET technologies in C#
• You will take responsibility for parts of the application and actively contribute your own technical solutions and suggestions for improvement.

What You Bring

• Completed technical education in software development (HTL, FH, University) with a specialization in computer science, software engineering, or comparable
• Solid practical experience in software development with C# / .NET
• Experience with modern web frameworks or component-based UI approaches
• Interest in complex software systems and the industrial / mechatronic environment

You will experience how software meets steel, sensors, and high-tech: working closely with mechatronics engineers, hydraulics engineers, metallurgists, and software developers on a high-tech product with real industrial benefit.

What Else You Should Know

The gross annual salary according to the collective agreement for this position, upon fulfillment of all requirements, is at least EUR 47,546.94 (E/00) or EUR 53,241.02 (F/00). Significant overpayment is possible depending on education and experience.
