About

This is a 6-month contract position with possible extension, focusing on supporting the development, provisioning, and checkout of a Python/ROS2-based system using COTS hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support development, provisioning, and checkout of a Python/ROS2-based system using COTS hardware.
• Scope includes device driver development and updates.
• Provisioning process improvements using automation/scripts.
• Software checkout/troubleshooting on testbeds and electronics hardware.

Requirements

• Python software development
• Linux experience
• Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills
• Scripting and automation tools
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• ROS2

• Ansible and Bash
• Hardware/software integration
• EtherCAT and/or motor drivers
