Software Engineer (PHP / JavaScript / PostgreSQL)

We are expanding our development team to support the evolution of our software platform used in pharmaceutical production environments. Our systems connect industrial machines, cloud software, and business partners in regulated settings.

About the Role

We are looking for a developer who enjoys understanding complex systems end-to-end and improving an existing codebase while ensuring stable operation in production.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve complex issues in production environments (3rd level support)
• Design and execution of structured system tests
• Maintain and improve existing PHP and JavaScript code
• Support gradual modernization of an established codebase
• Integration of machine software and B2B interfaces
• Opportunity to contribute to architectural improvements over time

Required Qualifications

• Several years of professional software development experience
• Solid PHP experience and confidence working in existing codebases
• Good JavaScript knowledge (experience with legacy and modern approaches)
• Solid PostgreSQL / SQL skills
• Confident working in Linux environments
• Structured approach to testing and debugging
• Fluent English
• Valid Swiss work permit and willingness to work on-site in Wollerau

Preferred Qualifications

• Docker or Google Cloud Platform
• Exposure to mobile development (Android or iOS)
• Experience in regulated or industrial environments (pharma, machinery)
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
