Software Engineer* - Platform Frameworks & APIs

We are looking for a Software Engineer* - Platform Frameworks & APIs for software development for IT platforms in the maritime sector, starting immediately for the Kiel location.

Your Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of virtualization and container solutions for development and test environments.
• Implementation and evaluation of DevOps strategies and processes.
• Close collaboration with development teams and integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Creation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds and deployments.
• Development of reusable templates, components, and modules according to best practices.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, IT, or a comparable field.
• Experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps.
• Engineering knowledge in the conception and implementation of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Experience with virtualization solutions (VMware vSphere, XCP-ng, VirtualBox, Hyper-V).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• Willingness for continuous further training and quick adaptation to new technologies.
• Fluent German and very good English skills.
