Software Engineer for Simulations

About

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer for Simulations for our client, with a utilization of 100%.

Responsibilities

• Concept and development of a HIL simulator for our hardware product
• Setup of a Python-based automation framework, including API design, test orchestration, and modularization
• Modeling of hardware behavior, interfaces, states, error patterns, and timing scenarios
• Integration of real and simulated data paths
• Development of automated end-to-end, integration, and regression tests
• Setup of a scalable architecture for Continuous Integration / Continuous Testing
• Close collaboration with system software development, system architecture, and DevOps

Requirements

Must Have:

• Experience in the development of HIL systems, simulators, or test automation
• Experience in setting up test frameworks or tooling for developers
• Very good knowledge of Python (e.g., AsyncIO, PyTest, OOP, Architecture)
• Knowledge of CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins or similar)
