About the Role
For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH. The position holder (f/m/d) works as Software Engineer – Simulation UI Systems.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements
- Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations and flight training debriefing stations
- Define and design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and UI/UX concepts
- Design, develop, test and maintain software with C++ and Qt/QML, ensuring clean, efficient and maintainable code following best practices
- Analyze and debug software issues and fix bugs
- Identify and address technical risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Participate in planning, stand-up, review and retrospective meetings according to software development methodology
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards
- Ensure scalable, maintainable system architecture and integration with other systems
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in IT / information systems
- Deep knowledge of C++ and Qt/QML (mandatory)
- Simulation background is an advantage
- Fluent German (negotiation level, mandatory) and English (negotiation level)
- German language skills are mandatory for this position
