Your Responsibilities

• Refactoring the existing architecture of our Campus Management System, including the connection of sub-systems.
• Creating the software design for the further development of our Campus Management System.
• Designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft SQL Server database systems for inbound and outbound business process transactions.
• New development and operation of interfaces based on REST and OData.
• New development and operation of web applications.
• Extension and operation of .NET-based applications.
• Technical support (3rd Level) for Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft IIS.
• Creation of technical specifications and documentation.
• Collaboration and representation for technical concerns of the team within ZHAW and in inter-university committees.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science.
• Several years of DevSecOps programming experience with modern tools (versioning, TDD, CI/CD, pipeline, containers, and microservices).
• Experience in complex, demanding, and heterogeneous IT infrastructures.
• At least 5 years of practical experience with Windows Server and MS SQL Server, as well as scripting with PowerShell.
• Basic knowledge in VMware virtualization and other public clouds (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience with C# or .NET programming is an advantage.
• Knowledge in the area of Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
