About Us

Sellers Back Office is a fast-growing operations partner for Amazon sellers, managing inventory planning & logistics across complex global supply chains. We currently manage 30,000+ ASINs and 2,000+ containers across multiple clients, with systems built in advanced Google Sheets workflows.

We are now transitioning from spreadsheets to a scalable software platform.

The Role

We are looking for a highly capable Software Engineer to design and build our internal operating system from the ground up. This person will work directly with leadership to translate our existing Google Sheets logic, workflows, and operational processes into a robust, scalable platform.

A major part of this role will be designing and building the underlying data infrastructure and databases needed to centralize and organize the massive amount of operational, inventory, shipment, forecasting, and financial data we consume daily from multiple sources.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role with ownership over architecture, integrations, data systems, and product development.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and build an internal software platform to replace complex Google Sheets systems
• Design and build centralized databases and data infrastructure to store and organize operational data across clients, ASINs, shipments, inventory, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Create scalable systems capable of handling large volumes of real-time and historical logistics and inventory data
• Translate existing spreadsheet-based logic (inventory planning, shipment tracking, forecasting) into scalable backend systems
• Integrate with Amazon APIs (SP-API) for orders, inventory, shipments, and reporting
• Build internal tools and dashboards for operations visibility and decision-making
• Help establish the long-term technical foundation and architecture of the company

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (startup or high-ownership environments preferred)
• Strong backend experience
• Strong understanding of databases, data architecture, and scalable system design
• Experience building and managing large-scale data systems and operational platforms
• Experience designing systems that handle large datasets and operational workflows
• Experience working with APIs (Amazon SP-API experience is a major plus)
• Experience turning messy business logic into clean, scalable systems
• Comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can build from 0 → 1

Nice to Have

• Experience in eCommerce, Amazon FBA, or supply chain/logistics systems
• Experience with AI/ML tools for forecasting or automation
• Experience building internal tools or operational platforms
• Familiarity with Google Sheets / Excel-heavy environments and migrations
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and data warehousing technologies
