Software Engineer (w/m) Konzept – Freelance / Interim

About

For a project with our client, we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (w/m) for the further development of a complex technical system in mechanical and plant engineering.

Responsibilities

• Transfer of market requirements into technical systems
• Creation of system requirements for hardware and software
• Participation in system roadmaps, concepts, and architectures
• Coordination with internal and external development partners
• Simulation, testing, and acceptance of development results
• Agile software development and implementation
• Conception of software solutions, e.g. for authentication, UI/UX, OTA, connectivity, and user management
• Support with cybersecurity and approval-relevant topics
• Responsibility for the lifecycle of individual applications in the overall system

Qualifications

• Completed studies in engineering or natural sciences or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software development, ideally model-based
• Experience in requirements engineering and software testing
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of sensor technology, control technology, network technology, CAN, or security is an advantage
• Experience with SCADE, PTC RV&S / Codebeamer, DOORS, or Jira is desirable
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
