Software Engineering Intern

Spotter is building AI-powered fitness software focused on movement analysis, lifting mechanics, and performance tracking.

We’re looking for a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to work directly with the founding team on core product development. This role offers meaningful ownership over features and the opportunity to influence technical and product decisions in an early-stage startup environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop Python-based algorithms for movement and exercise analysis
• Translate trainer-defined movement boundaries into software logic
• Contribute to iOS app development and core product features
• Own and ship features that will directly shape the future of the platform

MININUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current undergraduate student in Computer Science or related field
• Strong programming fundamentals and Python experience
• Interest in AI, algorithms, biomechanics, or fitness technology
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• iOS / Swift experience
• Machine learning or computer vision exposure
• Gym or lifting experience
