Software Engineer - Agentic Platform Development

About the Role

Build and operate autonomous systems that reason, act, and adapt in production. We're developing mission-grade agentic AI platforms that integrate models, tools, data, and workflows into reliable autonomous systems. This role focuses on designing, scaling, and sustaining intelligent services that must behave predictably, remain debuggable, and improve over time.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and operate autonomous agent platforms used in real mission workflows.
• Implement agent reasoning loops, tool/function calling, and multi-agent coordination patterns.
• Build and extend streaming and event-driven pipelines supporting agent decision-making.
• Integrate disparate APIs, data sources, and analytics into intelligent workflows.
• Harden production AI systems for reliability, observability, and long-term sustainment.
• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and mission users to evolve system behavior.
• Provide technical leadership in architecture, operational tradeoffs, and system design.

What You'll Need

• Strong Python experience building production backend or AI-enabled systems.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks, structured outputs, or workflow orchestration concepts.
• Experience with asynchronous systems, streaming (e.g., Kafka), and API integration.
• Experience operating software in Linux environments with CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
• Interest in owning intelligent system behavior through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

Education Requirements

Our Software Engineer openings span multiple experience levels, from junior through senior. A Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field is required. The typical minimum years of professional software engineering experience for each level are as follows:

• Junior-level: 3 years
• Mid-level: 8 years
• Senior-level: 12 years
