For the product development MDOcore software suite, we are looking for an experienced

Software Developer MDOcore (w/f/d)

at the earliest possible date for the Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) SW Center. The department's tasks include the creation of SW products such as the MDOcore software suite, as well as the development of processes and structures for the implementation of SW products.

Responsibilities

• Creation of concepts for the implementation of the MDOcore software suite
• Specification and development of software architectures as well as support of the development team in implementation
• Analysis of system and customer requirements for complex systems and in large-scale projects
• Specification and implementation of design requirements for certifiable applications
• Use of modern software technologies (C++17/20, Web technologies, Rust, git, Atlassian Tools, CMake, catch2, sqlite, buildroot, ...)
• Planning and implementation of software development using agile methods
• Creation of simple software designs and associated documentation
• Independent implementation of software development components in terms of time, cost, and quality
• Conducting code reviews

Profile

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or comparable qualification
• Many years of proven practical experience in software engineering and system integration within complex large-scale projects
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (C/C++), knowledge of Rust is an advantage
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to explore new paths
• Experience in applying DevSecOps methods
• Extensive process knowledge in the area of software engineering
• Independent and structured way of working as well as high problem-solving ability
• Team orientation and the ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams
• Experience in preparing and conducting technical presentations to customer groups and cooperation partners
• Presentation skills, ability to build and maintain networks, and assertiveness
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
