Position
AI/ML Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Further development and optimization of an existing C#/.NET tool regarding architecture, functionality, performance, and stability
- Maintenance and expansion of integrations with Azure DevOps/TFS (e.g., conception, development, and deployment of Python-based machine learning models (e.g., embeddings, classification, ranking, multimodal approaches))
- .NET–Python interoperability (API design, versioning, model deployment)
- Setup, further development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to implement innovative AI/software solutions
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Computational Engineering, Engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Profound experience in Applied Machine Learning, Prompt Engineering, and Context Engineering
- In-depth understanding of machine learning methods, especially neural networks, transformer models (e.g., ViT, LLMs), as well as data preprocessing and feature engineering
- Profound knowledge in software development with C# and .NET technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, Razor, HTML)
- Good knowledge of Python as well as performance optimization, logging, and monitoring
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken

- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Software Engineering, Data Science, Computational Engineering, Ingenieurwesen oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung
- Fundierte Erfahrung in Applied Machine Learning, Prompt Engineering und Context Engineering
- Fundiertes Verständnis von Machine-Learning-Methoden, insbesondere neuronale Netze, Transformer-Modelle (z. B. ViT, LLMs) sowie Datenvorverarbeitung und Feature Engineering
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Softwareentwicklung mit C# und .NET-Technologien (z. B. ASP.NET, Razor, HTML)
- Gute Kenntnisse in Python sowie in Performance-Optimierung, Logging und Monitoring
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
