Jobot is seeking a System Engineer to join their team. They are a premier provider of information technology, logistics management, business process re-engineering, financial management, and administrative support services catering to the Department of the Navy and Homeland Security.

Role

This is a full-time Software Integration Engineer position.

Responsibilities

• Execute software integration and validation in alignment with approved DevOps lifecycle methodologies.
• Integrate and test software releases, confirm bug resolutions, and conduct regression testing across varied hardware and operating system setups.
• Diagnose and resolve software integration challenges, including issues related to networking, virtualization, and system compatibility.
• Document and support testing outcomes adhering to Agile and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams for sprint planning, execution, and retrospective meetings.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment initiatives to improve software reliability and performance.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret security clearance at time of hire.
• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience (including internships).
• Experience with Red Hat, Windows, and Windows Server operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools is preferred.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and switch configurations is beneficial.
• Exposure to ACAS scans and cybersecurity compliance protocols is an advantage.

• $90,000 - $115,000 per year
