Job Description
As a Software Product Manager, you take responsibility for our Equipment Control Software and actively shape its future. You lead technical projects from requirements to release and ensure top‑notch quality and documentation. With your expertise, you connect development teams, customers, and internal stakeholders seamlessly.
What you will be doing
- check Own the product: you take full responsibility for cost, functionality, and quality of the Equipment Control Software
- check Drive roadmap & project scoping: you define roadmap, scope, timelines, and resource needs together with internal stakeholders
- check Lead the software development lifecycle: you manage the entire SDLC – from requirements and test‑driven development all the way to deployment
- check Push key projects forward: you plan, prioritise, and oversee technical projects, identify risks early, and drive corrective actions
- check Ensure documentation quality: you create and maintain all software documentation, including manuals and release notes
What you should bring
- check Technical background: you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
- check Engineering know‑how: you have experience in equipment engineering, construction, control systems, and modern software architectures
- check Process understanding: you understand customer applications, process technology, and how software can support these best
- check Project & leadership skills: you have successfully managed complex engineering projects and bring strong leadership and entrepreneurial thinking
- check Communication strength: you communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and speak fluent German and English
