About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, control and coordination of software project teams such as resources, performance management and information to maintain an effective and well‑functioning team working towards common goals.
- Manage project issues, risks and assumptions through regular reporting and be a key person to find feasible solutions and ensure the success of your projects.
- Effectively communicate internally and externally with the customer and ensure that changes within the project are managed properly throughout the project lifecycle.
- Control costs and make sure that the projects are delivered within budget, timeframe and quality agreed upon.
- Be responsible for all major milestones of the projects such as different acceptance tests, including onsite participation when the tests are being conducted.
Requirements
- A genuine technical interest and a degree within software engineering, computer science or other relevant education.
- Project management certification and experience with software management tools, ideally within the Siemens and Atlassian toolchain.
- Proven track record as a Project Manager with good results in an international environment with experienced engineers and Project Managers.
- Desirable: experience managing software projects within IT integration, intralogistics, or supply chain.
- Fluency in German and English; fluency in French is an advantage, and a valid driver’s license.
