Software Project Manager – Medical Devices

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager with strong background in medical device software environments. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional software/product integration initiatives within a regulated environment, ensuring successful execution of enterprise-level programs. This role is focused on software/product integration leadership, not general PMO coordination.

Key Experience Requirements (Must Have)

• Medical device industry project management experience
• Software project/program management in regulated environments
• Cross-functional integration leadership across engineering, QA, regulatory, and product teams
• Experience driving enterprise or product integration initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication
• Agile methodologies within medical device software environments

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software project execution in medical device programs
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and cross-functional delivery alignment
• Drive integration of software systems across enterprise/product platforms
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and business stakeholders
• Provide executive-level updates, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with applicable medical device software standards
• Support Agile-based delivery models and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business
• 5+ years of software, product development, or related experience
• 5+ years of project management experience in the medical device industry
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams
• Strong ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills to drive business recommendations
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (including MS Project)
• Experience using MS SharePoint
• Ability to travel up to 20% as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile project management experience
• 5+ years managing software projects in medical devices
• Knowledge of applicable software ISO and IEC standards
