Your Responsibilities

• As a Software Quality Engineer, you will conceptualize, develop, and implement software quality and test solutions to support business processes.
• You will be responsible for planning and executing manual end-to-end tests from eCommerce solutions to handover to the ERP system.
• In close cooperation with Product Owners and stakeholders, you will analyze and evaluate both technical and functional requirements with regard to quality assurance and testability.
• Furthermore, you will actively participate in architectural decisions, select suitable test technologies, and integrate them to ensure sustainable software quality through appropriate test strategies.
• You will also be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and further development of existing test frameworks and quality assurance processes, and create technical documentation to ensure sustainable test development.
• Throughout the entire software development process – from requirements gathering to production launch – you will support quality assurance and continuously contribute your expertise.
• You will work closely in cross-functional teams and actively participate in strategic IT and digitalization initiatives for further quality improvement.
• Additionally, you will support the introduction of new methods, tools, and processes in the areas of quality assurance, testing, and agile project management, and engage in professional communities and cross-functional initiatives for the continuous development of software quality.

Your Profile

• Several years of practical experience in software quality assurance and software testing
• Knowledge of procedures in the quality assurance of software solutions
• A relevant ISTQB certification is an advantage
• Good German and English skills
