About Us

In a world of short release cycles and complex system landscapes, we at Haftpflichtkasse are looking for a Hybrid Quality Engineer, not a classic tester. You will combine modern test automation, the use of AI, and strategic quality thinking – thereby sustainably shaping our quality culture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, Backend)
  • Integration of generative AI into the test process, e.g. for test case generation and self-healing tests
  • Planning, execution, and documentation of software tests considering automation and AI
  • Seamless integration of quality assurance into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment
  • Analysis and evaluation of test results, reporting, and structured error management
  • Close collaboration with development, IT operations, and business departments
  • Coaching teams in "Quality Ownership" and modern test practices
  • Representation of test management in release boards and towards stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in software testing and test automation
  • Sound knowledge of common test methods, test procedures, and test tools (e.g. ISTQB Certified Tester, Jira, Confluence, Xray)
  • Experience with the automation of software tests and corresponding tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit)
  • Knowledge of various software development methods (e.g. Waterfall, Scrum)
  • Strong quality awareness and analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking, communication skills, and high quality standards
  • Fluent German language skills (C1) required
