Software quality is a key success factor for us. As a Software Tester (m/w/d), you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that develops sophisticated software systems for industrial applications. With your quality awareness and structured approach, you will contribute to providing reliable and stable software solutions in close cooperation with the development teams and continuously develop our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Planning, creation, and execution of manual and automated software tests for complex software systems
• Development, maintenance, and expansion of automated test cases with TestComplete
• Analysis of requirements and derivation of suitable test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios
• Documentation of test results, errors, and deviations, and tracking in GitLab
• Close cooperation with development teams for early identification and resolution of errors
• Execution of regression, integration, and system tests
• Ensuring software quality regarding functionality, performance, and stability
• Participation in the continuous improvement of test processes and quality standards

Requirements

• Completed technical training or degree (e.g., Computer Science, Software, Engineering)
• ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level or higher) or alternatively several years of in-depth professional experience in software testing
• Good understanding of software development, IT systems, and technical contexts
• Understanding of software development processes and agile methods
• Plus but not a must: Knowledge in NDT or X-ray technology
• Experience in test automation with TestComplete is desirable
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and basic programming skills (e.g., Python) are advantageous
• Analytical skills for structured error analysis and bug reproduction
• High sense of responsibility and reliability
• High team spirit and communication skills
• Fluent German and very good English skills
