By joining us in Aix-en-Provence, you will be part of a dynamic site that brings together our digital services activities, enabling us to operate our clients' critical information systems and support them in their secure digital transformation.

Administrative reporting to Aix-en-Provence, but the project takes place at the La Ciotat premises.

The User Centric Solutions Engineering Department (DIUCS), which handles Thales Group's digital services activities, is looking for its next full-stack Java developers!

DIUCS, with over 1000 engineers, serves both the Thales group's needs and the needs of companies seeking IT service provision, in the energy, health, industry, public sector, finance, services, and defense sectors.

Our DNA focuses on user experience and the efficiency of associated services and products. We therefore specialize in the end-to-end development of cloud-native web and mobile applications.

By joining UCS, you will join a department capable of providing software solutions with high strategic stakes, secure (due to our clients' critical environments), innovative (to support/accelerate our clients' digital transformation), immersive (AR/VR), focused on user experience, while mastering practices and technologies such as cloud, agile at scale, eco-design, UX Design, Devops, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

The missions / The employee's daily life:

As "Software Solutions Engineers", you will design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using your knowledge of associated tools and methodologies.

You will participate in problem investigation to deliver high-quality products and services.

You will follow, transmit, and seek to improve best practices, with a focus on user experience.

Your main missions are:

• With the architect, you will design in detail and develop evolutions,
• Within your team, you will estimate the workload for the tasks assigned to you, and communicate their progress,
• You will test your developments by carrying out unit tests and automated integration tests.
• In liaison with users, you will diagnose incidents and anomalies, and ensure their correction,
• You will ensure the operational maintenance of the systems.

Your profile:

• You hold a Master's degree or are a graduate of an engineering school and have approximately 3 years of significant experience

• You must master Java Spring, and at least one front-end language like React or Angular

• You know the principles of Cloud Native development and a cloud provider like AWS, Azure, or GCP

• You are familiar with the principles of Devops and continuous integration

• You can demonstrate your knowledge of programming languages and frameworks

• You know Agile principles

• You are motivated to work in an international context (English)

• You know how and enjoy designing, developing, and testing secure software solutions and/or components in a microservices architecture.

• You are resourceful, innovative, and solution-oriented

• You have team spirit

• You also enjoy working independently and seek responsibility

• You are able to adapt and react to change
