Software Test Engineer

Mission

• You are responsible for carrying out cross-system tests of the developed software products and ensuring the quality of new functions and systems
• You create automated tests that are currently still carried out manually
• You draw attention to bugs and take over the coordination for their elimination
• You ask critical questions about the usability and configuration options of the applications and proactively make suggestions for their improvement
• You create structured test plans and test reports and distribute their content to the respective product managers
• Your close cooperation with other departments is one of the keys to successful testing

Requirements

• You have completed technical training with an IT focus and have several years of professional experience in software quality assurance
• You have basic knowledge of object‑oriented programming (C++, C# or Java) and basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL or Oracle) and Linux
• Sufficient experience in quality assurance and in testing applications in the logistics sector are an important part of your profile
• You think in a solution‑oriented way and are an analyst with high quality standards
• You have a very good command of German and English
• The willingness to work in an international, multicultural team and to contribute proactively round off your skills
