Role

In this role, as Head of Quality Assurance for Web Applications, you will shape and optimize the online channel, ensuring that digital customer experiences meet the highest standards. You will be responsible for the quality of the e-commerce platform and the website, oversee the implementation of engaging campaigns, and ensure that all digital touchpoints function flawlessly. You will work closely with the e-commerce and website team to continuously develop digital offerings and keep them up-to-date. You will continuously analyze relevant data, derive optimization potential, and thus significantly contribute to the sustainable achievement and further development of key KPIs. Through your focus on quality, user-friendliness, and stability, you will ensure that digital experiences inspire and contribute to the brand's long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• You ensure the quality of all web releases through systematic testing and identify potential problems early in the frontend and on the e-commerce platform.
• In this role, you automate recurring test processes, develop modern frontend tests, and thus sustainably increase efficiency and quality.
• As a Test Engineer for Web Applications, you establish testing standards and best practices and anchor quality as an integral part of the development process.
• You are responsible for Test Case Management, continuously maintain the test case library, and ensure clear, structured, and traceable documentation.
• In this role, you analyze and prepare test results in an audience-appropriate manner to enable informed decisions and continuous improvements.
• As Head of Quality Assurance for Web Applications, you work in an agile, ambitious team, take responsibility for your topics, and shape your workday flexibly between home office and on-site.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree from a University of Applied Sciences, University, or ETH, ideally in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of experience in frontend testing of modern web applications, particularly Single-Page Applications and enterprise e-commerce platforms.
• You master modern test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, are familiar with cross-browser and cross-device testing, and work routinely with tools like BrowserStack.
• You have programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web APIs, and are familiar with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, QMetry).
• Ideally, you have experience in testing digital analytics implementations (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics), CI/CD integration of test frameworks, or testing AI-powered systems.
• You work in a structured, quality-oriented, and team-oriented manner, communicate clearly in German and English, and feel comfortable in agile development environments.
