Software Test Engineer (m/w/d) - Banking

Your Tasks

• Planning, execution, and documentation of software tests in the banking environment
• Application of standard test methods according to ISTQB guidelines
• Participation in agile project teams and active shaping of test processes
• Execution of manual and automated tests
• Analysis of requirements and derivation of test cases
• Identification, documentation, and tracking of errors
• Ensuring and continuously improving software quality
• Independently driving topics in the test environment

Your Profile

• Sound knowledge of standard test methods, ideally with ISTQB certification
• Experience in test processes within agile projects (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Practical experience in manual and automated testing methods
• Structured, careful, and self-reliant way of working
• Analytical thinking skills and strong quality awareness
• High customer and team orientation as well as strong communication skills
• Experience with common tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aqua, or Postman is an advantage
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Ideally, knowledge of banking applications, especially in the financing application agree21 and the omnichannel sales platform
