Software Tester

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced tester to expand our IT team. SUREbusiness places high demands on the quality of our application and therefore focuses on test automation together with the developers. As a tester, you are responsible for its maintenance and management. Our IT team currently consists of twelve people, divided into four teams: one operations and three development teams. The teams work with, among others, C#, XUnit, SQL Server, TypeScript, Vue, Playwright, and Tailwind.

You have a critical eye and engage in discussions with developers to arrive at better solutions together. You clearly communicate your findings and help the team to structurally improve quality.

You look beyond the specifications of a feature and also investigate how the software behaves in practice. You use various forms of testing, such as manual tests, exploratory testing, and automated tests. You also contribute to how we can improve our test approach and processes.

What we are looking for?

• HBO or higher work and thinking level;
• Minimum 4 years of work experience as a tester;
• Experience with Agile and scrum working;
• Knowledge of automated testing (e.g. Storybook and Playwright) is a strong plus;
• Knowledge of business property and casualty insurance is a plus;
• Experience with test methodologies, such as TMAP and ISTQB, is a plus;
• You are a team player who can act independently and decisively;
• You have excellent communication skills.
