Software Tester & Commissioning Engineer

Your role in the team

• You are responsible for the test preparation of the KNAPP software.
• You install, configure, and test the software at the customer's site.
• You work closely with other departments as part of a project (development, planning, commissioning).
• On-site at the customer's location, you conduct customer tests and train the employees on the new system.
• You support the client during the initial phase.
• You will also be responsible for project closure activities and final documentation.

• The minimum salary for this position is EUR 3,040 gross per month (based on 38.5 hours per week / collective agreement for the metal industry).

Qualifications

• You are well acquainted with SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle databases).
• You have basic knowledge of programming (e.g., C++, C# or JAVA).
• Basic knowledge in the field of IT hardware and networks.
• You are interested in international workplaces (50% business trips worldwide).
• Your English in speaking and writing is good.
• Stress resistance, analytical thinking skills, and customer-oriented action are among your strengths.

Experience

• You have already gained some experience working with Linux.

Education

• You have a solid completed IT education (HTL, FH, or comparable qualifications).
