What You Can Expect

• You will design and develop modular software solutions with C++ in a team for our VDV core application etiCORE, which digitizes public transport.
• You will independently manage software sub-projects from requirements analysis through implementation to successful customer acceptance.
• You will extend existing software modules, particularly in the area of chip card communication, to realize specific customer requirements.
• You will implement cryptographic methods for authentication and encryption in our software, which often runs on embedded Linux systems.
• You will ensure the quality and maintainability of your developed modules through careful documentation and consistent version control.

What You Should Bring

• A completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field forms your foundation.
• You are proficient in C/C++ programming and ideally have already worked with Java.
• You have practical experience with chip cards and the associated standards (e.g., ISO, PC/SC, APDU).
• Your knowledge of cryptography and experience with development environments under embedded Linux and Windows are solid.
• You work in a structured manner, document your work carefully, and can communicate technical content clearly.
• You communicate fluently in German (C1 level), both written and spoken.
