Your Tasks

In this role, you will take on a central function in the technical implementation of data migrations in the energy industry environment:

• Development and maintenance of import and migration programs
• Implementation of complex technical transformation logic
• Support in the creation and adaptation of interfaces
• Analysis of errors and performance optimization of existing processes
• Automation of recurring migration steps
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Close collaboration with consultants and customers in interdisciplinary teams

AI-first working method:

• Use of AI-supported tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) for:
  • Support in code creation and optimization
  • Analysis of error patterns and log data
  • Acceleration of technical documentation
  • Identification and implementation of automation potentials
• Contribution to the development of standardized, AI-supported migration processes
• Development of reusable components and templates

What you bring

• Completed degree in computer science or comparable training
• Experience in software development (e.g. PL/SQL, Python, Shell)
• Experience with data migration or relevant professional experience in the energy industry
• Sound knowledge of databases and data processing
• Technical understanding of Windows and Linux systems
• Structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• Team player with good communication skills
• Very good German and English skills
