Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) Embedded Systems

Your Responsibilities

• You develop the control software for the company's injection molding machines
• This includes configuring the VxWorks operating system, designing multithreading, and ensuring real-time functionality
• You also configure build systems, integrate new components into the Embedded Ethernet system, and work on the distribution of various processes in a multicore architecture
• The complete software for the products is developed in-house, so continuous improvement and looking beyond the obvious are required
• You are enthusiastic about the latest technologies, such as ARM multicore architectures, and therefore contribute significantly to driving the product's success while adhering to current quality standards
• Your flexibility and creativity in software development for injection molding machines are in demand due to the versatility of plastics
• You therefore enthusiastically develop and optimize a structured core system
• Since the company also develops the hardware itself, you regularly coordinate with the hardware teams on current projects

Your Profile

• You have completed a degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• You have good knowledge of the programming languages C, C++, and UML, as well as build systems such as make, cmake
• Your knowledge of operating systems such as Linux or VxWorks is also good
• Ideally, you already have initial experience in programming real-time systems and knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Python
• You are a structured, solution-oriented personality who enjoys complex programming, looks beyond the obvious, and keeps the goal of the perfect software solution in mind
• Your German and English skills are very good, both written and spoken
