About Us

Buildsimple is our AI-based software for intelligent document processing, developed in Münster since 2017. Our goal is to make the benefits of artificial intelligence easily and quickly accessible to all customers through our Software-as-a-Service solution. Our highly specialized team is accustomed to working with large companies while maintaining a startup philosophy.

What to Expect

• You will provide impetus for the further development of our Buildsimple platform for Intelligent Document Processing.
• Together with your team, you will be responsible for developing new features for our SaaS application based on an AWS infrastructure, current frameworks, and cloud architectures.
• You will optimize the software architecture, development processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• You will translate functional requirements into technical solutions and design public and internal APIs.
• Backend and integration development (Java, Spring Boot) or full-stack development (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Material UI) awaits you if your focus also lies on frontend development.
• We will work closely with the Machine Learning team.

What You Bring

• You have sound knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript and at least two years of experience as a software developer in agile methods and test-driven development.
• Your expertise includes microservices architectures, the development of scalable and robust cloud services, and working with RDS and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• You are familiar with the DevOps approach and have practical experience in infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code.
• You possess very good German language skills (min. C1) and good English language skills (min. B2).
