About the role
About Us
Our rapidly growing software company brings together over 1,100 dedicated people at 15 attractive locations worldwide. What makes us special? We have Danish roots, operate internationally and have a unique corporate culture. Together, we write intelligent and innovative code because our customers—primarily public sector agencies and government institutions in the healthcare and defense industries—trust our innovative solutions worldwide to help them make better decisions in critical situations. Our DNA: #neverstopdeveloping
The company has a location in Bern and is characterized by its close customer relationships: Most of our work takes place directly at the customer's site, where we have our own office space.
Your Role
As a Solution Architect, you will be part of a cross-functional service delivery team working directly at the interface with customers in an agile environment. In our small, international team in Bern, we value flexibility, mutual support, and open communication across language and cultural barriers. We work together primarily in English on a daily basis and combine international expertise to provide our customers with excellent service. Become part of our team and play an active role in shaping the digital transformation in the defense sector.
What you can expect
You will be responsible for everything from requirements analysis to the implementation of solutions—tailored to the individual needs of our customers and partners in Switzerland and Central Europe. You will support the integration and configuration of our software products into individual system environments.
In addition, you will take on the following tasks:
- Coordinating strategies and technical requirements management within the framework of overall strategies and solutions
- Advising our customers on the development and implementation of our system or the design and development of medium-sized to large systems
- Supporting project managers with technical issues/quotation activities and workshops
- Active participation in the further development of software products and enhancements
- Support in answering technical product questions
- Responsibility for setting up training and test environments
- Conducting technical and product architecture training courses

- Experience in the defense or military sector is an advantage
- Very good understanding of IP network configurations (TCP/IP, UDP, SSL/TLS, DHCP, DNS, NAT)
- In-depth knowledge of IT platforms such as Windows, Linux, or Android, as well as technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, storage solutions, and database systems
- In-depth experience with software infrastructure, hardware integration with various protocols and interfaces, and software architecture with design patterns and frameworks such as iSAQB, TOGAF, or NATO Architecture Framework
- Experience with proposal preparation, estimates, and requirements management
- Additional knowledge – advantageous but not essential: Administration and operation of military specialist systems, experience with tactical radio equipment and radio networks, knowledge of ITIL and Scrum
- Languages: English (fluent), German or French are beneficial
- Strong consulting skills, ability to work in a team and a solution-oriented approach
- Experience in international cooperation
- Willingness to travel mainly in the Bern/Thun region and occasionally within Central Europe
