About the role

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect – Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise learning solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in CSOD, strong integration capabilities, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Design

  • Lead the design of end-to-end enterprise learning solutions using Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD)
  • Translate business and learning requirements into scalable technical architectures
  • Define system architecture, data flow, and integration patterns across platforms
  • Establish CSOD governance standards, best practices, and design frameworks
  • Ensure solutions align with long-term business and digital learning strategies

2. Implementation & Configuration

  • Own full lifecycle implementation: requirements, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Configure and optimize CSOD modules including Learning, Performance, Extended Enterprise, and Content
  • Develop advanced configurations such as dynamic assignments, workflows, and certification programs
  • Manage release cycles, environment setup (Stage/Production), and regression testing
  • Ensure high-quality delivery with minimal defects and strong user adoption

3. Integration & Data Strategy

  • Design and oversee integrations between CSOD and enterprise systems (HRIS, CRM, Identity platforms)
  • Implement SSO/SAML authentication and secure data exchange via APIs and web services
  • Define and execute data migration, validation, and transformation strategies
  • Build scalable reporting and analytics frameworks using CSOD Reporting/Insights
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and governance across systems

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Business, HR, L&D, and IT teams to understand needs and drive solutions
  • Lead workshops, requirement sessions, and solution demonstrations
  • Provide strategic guidance and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders
  • Drive change management, training initiatives, and adoption strategies
  • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences

5. Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with internal teams and CSOD support
  • Continuously improve system performance, workflows, and user experience
  • Monitor platform updates and implement new features and enhancements
  • Identify optimization opportunities to improve learning effectiveness and efficiency
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure knowledge transfer

6. Leadership & Best Practices

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to implementation teams
  • Define and enforce coding, configuration, and architectural standards
  • Drive innovation and adoption of modern learning technologies and tools
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory standards
