What awaits you?

• You analyze customer requirements, accompany workshops on commerce architectures, and translate business goals into scalable technical concepts. Together with consultants and requirements engineers, you structure requirements and support backlog prioritization.
• You develop technical target images and integration architectures for Shopify-based enterprise commerce solutions. You are responsible for selecting suitable technologies, integration strategies, and designing apps, frontend solutions, and middleware components.
• You provide technical leadership to development teams in projects, structure work packages, and make key technical decisions in coordination with clients. You ensure that architectural concepts are implemented cleanly and projects are delivered successfully from a technical standpoint.
• You are the technical point of contact for our clients, present architectural concepts, and support technical decisions regarding scalable commerce platforms.
• You further develop our engineering standards, conduct code and architecture reviews, and ensure that our solutions meet the highest quality standards regarding scalability, performance, and maintainability.

What you should bring?

• You have 3+ years of professional experience as a developer in projects with complex application, integration, and service architectures – e.g., in consulting or corporate environments. Even if you don't meet all requirements yet, but are very interested in developing towards solution architecture and technical leadership, we look forward to your application.
• You have completed a degree in computer science (business or technical), engineering, mathematics, or a comparable field.
• You enjoy working with high personal responsibility in agile setups and ideally have initial experience in technical leadership.
• You understand customer requirements in the context of integrated technical solutions and are eager to focus on technical consulting, quality assurance, and technical leadership in your next step, rather than pure coding.
• You can confidently translate business requirements into technical concepts and structured, actionable work packages for the team.
• You present yourself confidently in customer interactions, prepare decisions on trade-offs (risks, quality), and clearly present solutions.
• You have experience with cloud infrastructures, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• You have very good German and good English language skills.
