Role

In this role, as an architect for business solutions, you will design future-oriented IT architectures that translate business requirements into viable, integrated solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes, defining target architectures, and deriving clear technical concepts and roadmaps. You will accompany projects from idea to implementation, make architectural decisions, and ensure that functionality, security, and cost-effectiveness remain in balance. You will work closely with business departments and IT specialists, moderate workshops, and ensure that all stakeholders have a common understanding of the solution architecture. You will also evaluate new technologies and methods to continuously optimize business processes and sustainably advance digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Education or experience in business architecture, business informatics, process management, or comparable roles
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and organizational interrelationships
• Ability to structure complex requirements and develop consistent solution designs
• Basic understanding of system landscapes, integrations, and data flows
• Strong analytical skills and clear communication
• Experience collaborating with business, IT, and external partners
• Pragmatic approach with a focus on actionable solutions
• Language skills: German very good, English good, French good

Responsibilities

• End-to-end thinking to ensure integrated, non-fragmented solutions
• Development of holistic solution concepts across multiple value streams
• Translation of business requirements into structured, clear solution architectures
• Mapping of requirements to existing services, systems, and data models
• Early identification of gaps, redundancies, and conflicts
• Close collaboration with Service Design, IT roles, and Service Specialists
• Definition of solution principles and promotion of reusability over isolated solutions
• Creation of decision-making bases and technical support during implementation
