The role

• Would you like to take responsibility for the end-to-end ServiceNow architecture for our clients in a global enterprise environment and drive its strategic development?
• Do you enjoy driving customer-focused integrations, efficient workflows and the continuous development of the platform within complex project landscapes?
• Are you keen to work with our clients as a global service provider designing sustainable solutions for cloud and software transformation?

Practical Information:

• Location: DACH, multiple locations
• Language Requirements: Professional level German and English written and verbal
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid, and willingness to travel (up to 15%)

As our new ServiceNow Architect, you will play a key role in our delivery team, owning the overall platform design and translating client business needs into technical solutions. You will ensure the architecture, design, implementation, and integrity of the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ServiceNow architectures across modules such as ITSM, ITOM & ITAM
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight across ServiceNow projects
• Design integration architectures (REST, SOAP, MID Server, Service Graph Connectors)
• Define and maintain platform architecture principles, standards, and guardrails
• Collaborate with client stakeholders (Platform Owners, Product Owners, Architects) to present designs and align solutions
• Support pre-sales (ITSM/ITOM/ITAM), including scoping, sizing, documentation approval, and production release sign-off
• Deliver ServiceNow demos to clients, showcasing platform capabilities and solutions
• Act as trusted advisor for customers and senior stakeholders

What we need to see from you

• Several years of proven experience working with ServiceNow platforms
• Proven experience as ServiceNow Architect or Lead Technical Consultant
• Strong knowledge of:
  • ServiceNow platform capabilities
  • ITSM, CMDB & CSDM
  • ITOM Discovery (on-prem and cloud), ACC and Integrations
  • ITAM
  • Flow Designer, JavaScript, SQL, import sets and transform maps
• Deep understanding of CMDB governance/architecture, including Identification & Reconciliation Engine and its impact on data quality
• Experience with agile / SAFe / hybrid project delivery
• ServiceNow CSA and CIS-ITSM certificate, any other CIS like Discovery, SAM, HAM or a CTA would be a plus
• Solid communicator and collaborator with a proactive, can-do attitude combined with proactive ownership
• Ability to balance standardization vs. customer-specific needs
