We are therefore looking to fill the position of Solution Architect (m/f/d) immediately as a hybrid role at our locations in Gilching near Munich and Koblenz.

Your Knowledge/Experience:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable qualification
• Sound know-how in Requirements Engineering/Management (IREB) as well as in creating feature specifications and user stories
• Familiar with military IT projects, IT-SysBw, and the IT specifications of the armed forces
• Knowledge in Federated Mission Networking (FMN)
• Many years of practical experience in IT system design and the development of system architectures
• Expertise in system integration and test case creation
• Experience in creating IT technical concepts and system documentation
• Technical understanding of tactical communication systems (UHF/VHF, HF), SATCOM/GNSS, and LTE/5G
• Confident use of Linux-based IT systems, Cisco technologies, and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Familiar with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and SPARX Enterprise Architect
• Very good analytical skills and a structured way of working
• Strong team player and excellent communication skills
• Solution-oriented, independent action, and high customer orientation
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Occasional willingness to travel

Due to our cooperation with customers in the critical infrastructure sector, a security check according to the Security Screening Act (SÜG) may be required.

Your Tasks:

• Analysis and refinement of requirements
• Creation of feature specifications in collaboration with software product management
• Development of IT concepts (preliminary, detailed, deployment, and operational concepts)
• Participation in IT security concepts (e.g., BSI baseline protection, certificates, encryption, SINA)
• Development of IT system architectures, including model-based (UML, NAF, ADMBw)
• Active participation in and facilitation of workshops
• Technical and functional consulting and coordination with internal teams, project partners, and customers
• Creation of technical contributions for proposals
