As a Solution Architect (m/f/d) for the App Sparkasse, you will significantly contribute to defining and implementing the technical vision and architecture. You will be responsible for technical leadership across multiple teams, ensuring that our solutions are not only future-proof and scalable but also delight our customers. Together with you, we want to set new standards in digital banking!

Your Responsibilities:

• You take responsibility for the further development of the cross-team architecture and ensure that our products remain scalable, secure, and future-proof.
• You accompany technical projects across departments, drive the definition of standards and best practices, and ensure their compliance.
• You are the central point of contact for technological decisions and work closely with department management, other solution architects, and the teams.
• You support the conception of new projects with a view to the entire IT ecosystem and make sustainable architectural decisions.
• You promote collaboration between teams, establish a culture of technical responsibility, and introduce innovative technologies.

Your Profile:

• You have several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Engineer, or in a comparable role.
• You have sound knowledge in IT architecture and software design and ideally have experience with large, complex applications.
• You have experience in leading and coordinating cross-team technical projects and in applying agile methods (e.g., Kanban, Scrum) in a dynamic environment.
• You possess strategic foresight and the ability to understand and sustainably shape complex technical and business contexts.
• You have strong communication skills and are able to communicate convincingly with both developers and stakeholders at management level.
• You master collaboration with cross-functional teams and can effectively convey technical decisions to create consistency and orientation.
• You bring initiative and a solution-oriented mindset, paired with a high degree of social competence, empathy, and assertiveness.
• You are experienced in app development and have in-depth knowledge of CI/CD, performance optimization, and security concepts. Furthermore, you have ideally already developed technological strategies that consider both technical excellence and economic sustainability.
• You communicate confidently in German and English (at least B2 language level).
