As part of an employee leasing arrangement for a renowned client, we are looking for a dedicated Solution Architect SCADA (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Develop and design standard SCADA solutions that provide secure, scalable architectures aligned with customer requirements and compliant with industry standards
• Create project‑specific solutions and architectures in close collaboration with the bid management and sales teams
• Prepare the technical description of the solution and compile the Bill of Materials (BoM) for SCADA systems
• Manage stakeholders and provide technical support to sales, bid management, and engineering teams
• Conduct training sessions for internal departments such as sales, bid management, and project execution
• Translate functional requirements into Epics, Features, and high‑level acceptance criteria for agile implementation

Requirements

• Successfully completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect, System Architect, Lead Engineer, or Project Manager in the SCADA/Control Systems domain for energy or industrial applications
• In‑depth knowledge of SCADA system architecture and design, including redundancy concepts, high availability, and scalability
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, standards, and codes
• Comprehensive knowledge of communication protocols such as IEC 60870‑5‑101/104, IEC 61850, OPC UA, DNP3, Modbus; experience with ICCP/TASE.2 is an advantage
• Hands‑on experience with leading SCADA platforms T3000 (Siemens Spectrum Power, WinCC OA, COPA‑DATA zenon, VIVAVIS HIGH‑LEIT)

Additional Skills

• Solid understanding of networking and IT security principles.
• Experience in project execution, including preparation of technical specifications.
• Familiarity with data modeling, HMI design, and alarm management.
• Market and technology awareness of SCADA solutions and their integration into OT/IT environments.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers at eye level.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities combined with a structured and collaborative approach.

Languages

• Fluent in English; German is desirable.
