With the completion of our financing round, we are now entering the growth phase and are looking for a Solution Architect to build the best smart homes with us!

Description

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the technical architecture of our platform and shape the entire tech stack from cloud infrastructure to the end device. With technical depth and your solution-oriented approach, you will define together with management and the development team how the smart home of tomorrow will be built. In this central role, you will be the key technical person who not only makes smarli. the best smart home experience for our customers but also the easiest solution for our partners.

Your Tasks

• Design and responsibility of the system architecture across the entire tech stack
• Technical guidance, enablement, and support of the development team
• Further development of our IT infrastructure and consideration of relevant tech developments
• Establishment of standards and best practices regarding software development, DevOps, and QA
• Ensuring Security and Privacy by Design
• Technical responsibility for product development in close collaboration with the CPO
• Active participation in the development team (currently 3 people) and involvement in further team building

Your Profile

• You have 3+ years of experience as a Solution/System Architect or in a similar role with architectural responsibility
• Your expertise includes backend, DevOps, and frontend (we work with cloud infrastructures, modern web technologies, and on-premise Linux servers)
• You have an affinity for the interplay of hardware and software
• You enjoy complex challenges and are motivated to learn new subject areas
• You want to take on real responsibility in a startup and are ready to build something lasting
• You speak fluent German and English
